Hey Howlin' Wolf Fans!

John describes his experience at the 1975 Howlin´ Wolf concert at Sick's Stadium in Seattle in the new biography Moanin' At Midnight: The life and Times of Howlin' Wolf. This is a great book written by James Segrest and Mark Hoffman. John's account has also been published in the current issue of Living Blues Magazine, #174.

John and Clarence Fountain hangin' out
Gospel Connection!

John's buddy, Early Bryd, has been touring with the Blind Boys and introduced John to Clarence Fountain. Early Byrd was a pioneer gospel and soul DJ and has recently been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Legends category. He's a walking, talking piece of history! Check out his website, earlybyrd.com.

Stephan also performs with The 3 J's, a band that John Firmin put together. Firmin, Stephan and John Lee go way back...to the early days in Anchorage. The band also features Miss Dee, a dynamite singer from San Francisco. Watch for The 3 J's this fall in the Northwest!
